I was quite nervous about joining MOBIv8 as this is a completely different approach to weight loss. I was hoping to carry on and lose a few more pounds, hopefully a dress size.

To be honest, my expectations were quite low due to the fact I’ve probably done most ‘diets’ through the years and always bounced back to my original weight, if not higher.

MOBIv8 is not about weigh in’s and making you feel bad if you eat something that’s not green. It’s about making the small changes which add up to a big life change.

I had already been slimming on my own for 2.5 months before joining and lost 10 lbs and a dress size. However I’d reached a point I was about to give up as I had lost motivation and drive – it’s hard doing it on your own.

I have now lost 30lbs (13.5kg’s) and 3 dress sizes in total! I’m embracing the new way of living! I also enjoy exercise for the first time. Knowing that everyone in the group is there to support me and give me strength makes a huge difference.

My goal is to lose another 2 dress sizes and another 25lbs. I now KNOW my goal weight isn’t just a pipe dream. This is going to happen and I’m so excited about it!

We’re doing this for long lasting personal change and we’ll all get there at our own pace. The support in the group has been amazing. I look forward to the live weekly webinars and I know I’m not the only one who’s excited to hear how everyone’s been doing.

Diabetes runs in my family and I had a health scare last year which got me thinking about how I was. Now my reasons have changed completely. I’m now doing it because I enjoy it! I now love going to the gym and doing exercise – something I never imagined before.

I’ve had back problems since I was 13 and sciatica for years. The sciatica has now gone and I don’t shudder in horror when my little nieces launch themselves at me for a cuddle. I can touch my toes for the first time EVER. I don’t have to move out of the way if someone wants to pull down the seat next to me on the tube. I also went on my first hiking trip a couple of months ago and reached the highest peak in Cambrians through several miles of bog – a feat I would never have imagined I was capable of.

Also for the first time, I’ve got rid of my ‘big’ clothes. Before, I always kept them as I knew that one day I would need them again. Not now. It’s a very different mindset actually removing the clothes and taking them to a charity bin. That’s the end of that. No more size xx. It’s very therapeutic!

I would recommend this to anyone who’s fed up of these fad diets and wants to make this the last change they have to make to stop worrying about weight. Join this group – it will give you the mindset and motivation to succeed and achieve what you’ve always wished for but never sustained. This is a change of life, not a diet. You set your goals and you decide what you want to eat and what exercise you want to do.

It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for ME. By helping myself, I’m now better able to help others. This group is supportive, inspirational and motivational.

Hi Paul,

I just thought I’d update you. This is my fourth week of “changing myself” with MOBIv8 and I’ve successfully lost 11 kgs! I haven’t needed to eat any chocolate or sugar or dairy and I feel great changing my habits!

My exercising has also been great – really enjoying it and not letting myself slip back into old habits of rewarding myself with a treat because I’ve lost some weight (that was one of my big problems). I am feeling great and loving it!

“…4 Dress Sizes and I Have My Life Back”

I decided in April 2012, that I HAD to make a change. When I started I was so unhealthy I needed to completely reprogramme my body, my mind and my health. I didn’t actually start to lose any scale weight until December 2012. During 2012 I was hospitalised as my liver started to fail, then in January 2013, my pancreas took a turn. I had almost died twice in six months, nothing wakes you up as coldly and brutally as facing death. It was a genetic bile duct causing the problem, but it turns out being fat and lazy doesn’t help. My doctors and personal trainers are now amazed at the changes.

Changing my entire lifestyle wasn’t the hard part, working out in the gym and eating healthy foods is easy, once you’ve talked yourself into it. By mid-January I knew I had broken the mental cycle, this was my toughest challenge but by mid-January the final battle was won, the war was in the bag too.

I have got here one day at a time, imagine if I had done nothing – one year down the line I would probably be dead.

I joined Slimmer’s MOBIvation towards the end of 2012. It has provided me with accountability, I turn up, I participate and I am accountable. I think 2012 was a powerful year for me in that, I realised that this is my life and for me to be truly happy I need to let go, I need to focus on me and Slimmer’s MOBIvation in many ways has reinforced that this is the right way for me to approach life and to grow, progress and succeed, in every area of my life. There will also be a career change off the back of this and a whole new life for this girl. It’s 2013, I have lost 4 dress sizes and I have my life back.
